Meet Our Veterinary Team

Beverly has been a part of the West Coast Veterinary Services team since the practice first started in 2005. Beverly and Dr. Boyd are very connected with each other and with the practice as they have spent many years working with one another.

Beverly has a deep love for Stephenville and an appreciation of the fact that it offers all the basic amenities as well as beautiful country living.

Beverly has two beautiful children and a lovely grandson. She also has a rescue dog named Ace and a golden doodle named Hershey. Some of Beverly's hobbies include crafting, kayaking, and just relaxing with her dogs while watching a good show.

My name is Shelia Lidstone. I have lived the majority of my life here in Stephenville Newfoundland. I am currently married and have one daughter. I also have a large fur family which consists of a Great Dane named Dutches, an English Setter named Bella and a German Short Haired Pointer name Raleigh.

I came to work at West Coast Vet Services 10 years ago where I left my career as a Paramedic to join the animal side of medicine. My hobbies include spending time with my family, kayaking during the summer months and going to my daughter's swim meets.

Heidi has worked as a Veterinary Assistant at West Coast Veterinary Services since 2018. She loves that each day is different and feels as though this allows her to have a constant learning experience.

Heidi is an integral part of our team often expressing how she feels like we are a family here and appreciates the support that our team shows to one another.

During her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her horses and going for off-leash walks with her dogs!

I returned to Vet assisting after 23 years of grooming as owner and operating Krista Pampered Pets.

I love being back into the medical part of the animal world. Each day offers something new and exciting.

In my off times, you’ll find me at Ned’s or exploring new trails with the fur baby Gracie

Hi, I’m Katlyn! I’ve been part of this amazing team for almost two years, and it’s truly a joy to welcome both pets and their people through our doors.

I know how much our animals mean to us—they’re family. As a mom to two sweet daughters, Avery and Violet, and two cats who run the house, Maria and Cooper, I feel lucky to work in a place that shares that same love and care.

I genuinely enjoy my job, especially getting to learn something new every day. Whether it’s about animal care or just connecting with someone who loves their pet as much as I do, there’s always something that makes the day meaningful. What I love most, though, is how close-knit and supportive our team is—it truly feels like one big family.

Hi, I’m Tammy! I’ve been part of the team for almost a year now as a receptionist, and I truly enjoy every moment of it. Getting to meet so many different pets and their families is one of the best parts of my job—there’s always something new and fun every day.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my grandchildren, taking off on ATV rides, and relaxing at the cabin on the weekends. Being part of a team that feels like family and getting to work with animals is the perfect combination for me.
